Frequently asked questions

Do I need a GP referral?

No. You can self-refer and book directly online or by phone.

How quickly will I get an appointment?

We routinely offer same-day and next-day slots, including evenings.

Is the injection painful?

Most patients describe it as a brief sharp scratch. Ultrasound guidance means we work efficiently and accurately, minimising discomfort.

How long does relief last?

It depends on the diagnosis. Steroid injections often help for 3–6 months; hyaluronic acid and Arthrosamid® can give longer-lasting benefit for arthritis.
